The mission of Verburg Consultants is to get to the root of complex management issues and come up with clear, practical solutions. These solutions contribute to the positioning of the organisation and ensure the interests of the wider community are part of the solution, in line with good governance. The logo of Verburg Consultants is based on the astrolabe, a navigational instrument already used when Columbus set sail on his voyage of discovery to America. The astrolabe was used to determine the height of the sun in the sky, and hence the geographical location of a ship at a particular moment in time. Captains used astrolabes to steer their ships, their crew and their cargo to safe harbours.

The logo reflects the way in which we work: we keep an eye on which way the wind is blowing and manoeuvre unwaveringly in order to get where we want to be.
